HealthSecrets
Privacy policy

What data we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep the scope narrow.

This policy covers the public site, newsletter subscriptions, limited operational data, and the admin system used to manage content.

Health Secrets is designed to publish content, not to run an aggressive data-collection business. That does not mean no data is ever processed. It means the goal is to keep collection limited to what the site actually needs to function.

If the site later adds features that materially change the data footprint, this policy should be updated rather than stretched to pretend nothing changed.

Collection

Information we currently collect.

  • +Newsletter signups submitted through the public site.
  • +Admin account information and session cookies required to access the publishing backend.
  • +Basic server or hosting logs generated as part of operating the website.
  • +Information you voluntarily send by email when contacting the site.
Use

How that information is used.

Newsletter email addresses are used to manage newsletter delivery and list administration. Admin account data is used to control access to the content management system. Operational logs are used for stability, security, and debugging.

We do not need broad personal profiling to run the current site, and the policy should not imply that we collect more than the system actually uses.

Cookies

Cookies and session storage.

The public site may use minimal technical storage needed for delivery and performance. The admin area uses authentication cookies and session records so authorized users can sign in and manage content securely.

If new tracking, analytics, or personalization layers are introduced, they should be added here explicitly rather than assumed under generic language.

Retention and rights

Retention, deletion, and contact requests.

  • +Newsletter subscribers can request removal by contacting the site.
  • +Admin account data is retained as needed for platform operation and security review.
  • +Operational logs may be retained for hosting, debugging, and security purposes for a limited period depending on infrastructure needs.
  • +Privacy questions can be sent to the contact address listed on the contact page.
